Work on the new Edition of Jumping Prospects Trainer Comments 2018 is almost complete. The book will hopefully be printed early next week but due to a few technical hitches during the writing of the book, I’m unlikely to make the original publication date of Wednesday 19th of September.

Everyone involved with the production side will hope to be able to provide copies to be sent out either Friday 21st or Monday 24th September.

The book contents are looking up to the usual standards and it is an informative and entertaining read with many new featured horses from the 16 Stables in the book.

The only missing yard is that of Paul Nicholls as I was unable to include the stable this season. This is the first time in 23 years the Nicholls horses have not featured. Very disappointing situation.

However, the full list includes Kim Bailey, Jack Barber, Harry Fry, Warren Greatrex, Nicky Henderson, Anthony Honeyball, Alan King, Tom Lacey, Emma Lavelle, Charlie Longsdon, Donald McCain, Ben Pauling, Alaistair Ralph, Colin Tizzard, Harry Whittington, Evan Williams.

All the above interviews are packed with useful hints and comments about the horses from each yard chosen because I feel they have the ability to win races at different stages of the core jumping season. Last year 321 winners emerged from the previous book with the first 100 winners achieved in record time from 408 runners. That’s a 25% strike rate! This is not the first time that 100 winners have hit the bullseye since I began to realise there was a race going on inside the book.

If you have already placed an order I hope you read, enjoy and make yourself richer.

If you are new or a returning book buyer I hope you will make the best investment any punter will possibly make and purchase your copy of Jumping Prospects Trainer Comments 2018.
