John Says: While the autumn publication features mainly southern based trainers, I began to have discussions with a number of northern based trainers who asked why I did not include them on my tour. During mid-October I decided to set out on the road to visit five northern stables in the Scottish borders and also around the Carlisle area during this two day trip. The results of my mini tour are featured in this book. Some of those featured will not attract the attention of the mainstream racing press or other rival publications. I’m of the opinion that there are some potential big priced horses that will be capable of emerging from these extra exclusive interviews.

How the emails work.
John says: Last season I started an ‘Email membership’ that has gradually evolved into a popular aspect of my Jumping Prospects work.
The emails are sent out from Thursday – Saturday. The emails consist of news, opinions, humour and my own selections and comments concerning the prospects of individual horses from the books that run each day. This has enabled me to save people from backing horses that in my opinion should be swerved on any particular day.
Let’s face it, they don’t all win and if I am able to suggest leaving horses alone that I feel won’t be up to winning, this will work to your advantage

One aspect of the emails that was added last year and has become very popular is the ‘Saturday Football Patent’. I’m a massive football fan, but my specialist way of putting up bets on the ‘footie’ is to look for value from the lower divisions in England & Scotland.
